 The Green House garden and home co. is a family run business which specializes in landscaping, irrigation, horticulture and garden maintenance as well as specialised interior and exterior design finishes, rustic timber and lath fencing and more recently building organic vegetable gardens.

Charlie and Milly are a husband & wife team who work in the areas between Somerset West and Hermanus in the Western Cape, South Africa. They live in the outstandingly beautiful area of Pringle Bay on the South West point of Africa. Charlie has had over 25 years experience in horticulture and landscaping and for the past 13 years has specialized in creating indigenous fynbos gardens in this area. The Western Cape Floral Kingdom is protected as a biosphere and is famous for its unique and abundantly diverse floral species. The Green House is committed to preserving this natural wonder of the world.

Charlie has been involved in the design and installation of gardens in large corporate projects as well as golf and estate developments and private homes. He has a broad knowledge of hard and soft landscaping, irrigation as well as water-wise and feature planting.

Milly is an artist and has a special interest in interior design and decor as well as protecting the environment and growing organic vegetables. She has also had experience as a carpenter and nature guide. Charlie and Milly built their own house together which draws much attention in the area due to its natural finishes and organic shapes. Milly has worked on specialized finishes of floors, ceilings, murals and much more.

Charlie and Milly have a desire to create tranquil environments, inside and out of the home by building on what nature has already provided, mixing elements and by respecting and utilizing an eco-friendly approach.
